Brian believes anxiety (like all seeming crises) is an opportunity. Anxiety treatment clarifies what we need to do in order to be who we want to become, accepting ourselves while rejecting the power of fear. To this end, Brian’s approach is rooted in CBT and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD while incorporating elements of mindfulness, existential, and psychodynamic methods.

Dr. Bari Cohen is Clinical Director of Light on Anxiety and is available for intakes & treatment planning sessions. After the treatment planning session she will work with you to develop a customized, CBT based treatment plan and will connect you with a LOA therapist who will best meet your clinical and scheduling needs.

Francesca utilizes her clinical experience working in an integrated care delivery system to assist her clients in obtaining continuity of care from a mind-body wellness framework. In addition, Francesca has extensive experience offering children strengths-based coaching to mitigate adjustment issues associated with environmental stressors.

She has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness/Meditation (DBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for the treatment of OCD, trichotillomania, skin picking, nail biting, panic, generalized anxiety and other anxiety related disorders .
